Health app review process.

All apps are reviewed by a mixture of NHS clinical staff, expert patients and carers and our digital safety team.

We use Mytherappy's unique pathway and critiquing process before apps are given the Mytherappy seal of Approval.

Apps are tested clinically within the NHS and other healthcare settings by our national testing network.

The apps are tested using a 50 point objective criteria for digital safety. This includes data protection, privacy details, usability and clinical value. The criteria was created in conjunction with the NHS health apps library and the Stroke Association. The apps are then also tested clinically by clinicians and expert patients for their usability and clinical content.

As an NHS service we remain impartial and are not affiliated with any app developers.
