Description
An app developed by the hand team at Chelsea and Warminster hospitals to improve the quality and care of hand therapy patients.
The app will allow any hand therapist to clearly indicate which exercises they recommend to their patients and how often to do them. By selecting their patients’ suggested exercises from over 80 tutorial videos, the therapist will be able to improve a patients’ rehabilitation by increasing their comprehension and motivating them to do their exercises.
The app has a reminder function, allowing the therapist or patient to set a reminder to do the exercise at a prescribed interval throughout the day for the duration of their therapy.
If the patient would prefer to read their rehabilitation instructions, the app will include links to PDFs which would otherwise be handed to the patient at the beginning of their treatment.
MyTherappy Review:
Good resource for low tone arms
Pros: Clear videos, ability to create a HEP for individual patients with an exercise reminder prompt. Useful for a lot of patients.
Cons: Videos do not work offline
