Description

Health app update: April 2020. This app is no longer supported by the current software options. We are therefore unable to recommend it as safe.

OT Session is an app that improves and addresses deficits in visual tracking, bilateral coordination, visual perception, fine motor/dexterity, visual scanning, and handwriting/correct letter formation. It was created by Dr. Frederick B. Covington, an award winning occupational therapist. The app was shaped through the experiences of working with preschool, grade aged children (K-12), and those with various diagnosis including; autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and multiple disabilities. By utilizing a game like format to address each area, iOT not only catches a child's or patient's attention through fun activities, but can increase his or her performance in all mentioned areas. With iOT parents, teachers, educators, and occupational therapists have the ability to automatically track and report a user's progress through the user log-in feature. In addition, all progress is kept, can be reviewed, and emailed. The charted document can then be used in IEP's or placed in a patient's chart. (Please note: not compatible on iPad Gen 1 running 5.1.1 iOS)
